Source: This product is Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd, a plant of Magnoliaceae. et Wils. Of dry ripe fruits. The autumn fruits are picked when they are ripe and dried to remove the stalks and impurities.

Properties: This product is spherical or oblate, with a diameter of 4-6mm. The surface is brownish-red to dark brown, shriveled and shrunken, and the flesh often clings to the seeds.
