Medicinal material source: It is the peel of Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn.

Latin plant animal mineral name: Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn.

It is the pulp of the Sapindaceae plant. When the fruit is ripe, the pulp is peeled off and dried in the sun.

Indications of function

Clearing away heat and resolving phlegm, relieving pain and eliminating accumulation. Governance sore throat, stomach pain, colic pain, rheumatism pain, worm accumulation, food stagnation, unknown swelling poison.

Dosage

Oral administration: decoction, 2-3 money; mashed or ground into powder. External use: smashed and coated, with pharynx or decoction for washing.

Compound

①Treatment of wind and phlegm: One Sapindus japonica (de-nucleated), ground to rot, and taken with boiled water. ("Guangxi Folk Commonly Used Herbs")

②Treat laryngobi and open the pharynx orifice: Sapindus mucus extranuclear meat, smashed juice and white soup. ("Compendium of Materia Medica")

③Treatment of sore throat due to poisoning: 2 taels of Wusuan fruit (pitted), 4 taels of honey, soaked for half a month before use. Contain two or three times a day, and swallow half a pharynx each time.

④ To treat heart and stomach qi pain, sha qi, insect pain, abdominal pain due to food accumulation, and astringent urination: 7 nostalgic fruits (pitted), each with a little salt, burn the property, grind it into powder, and soak it in boiling water. Reduced for children.

⑤ Treatment of worm accumulation and food stagnation: without suffering from three dollars of pulp, simmer in water.

⑥ Treatment of poisonous insect bites and unknown swollen poison: appropriate amount of fruit pulp, smashed, adjusted with water, and rubbed on the affected area. (③Following the recipe, "Guangxi Folk Commonly Used Herbs" is published)
