Source This product is the dry shoots and leaves of Platycladus orientalis (L.) Franco. More in the summer and autumn harvest, dry.
Traits this product more branched, twigs flat. Leaves small scalelike, opposite pairs, appressed to branches, dark green or yellowish green. Crisp and easy to break. Gas fragrance, bitter taste, micro-Xin.
Identification of the powder yellowish green. Upper epidermal cells are oblong and slightly thicker. Lower epidermal cells square; stomatal many, depression type, to protect the larger cells, side view was dumbbell-like. Parenchyma cells contain oil droplets. The fiber is elongated and has a diameter of about 18 μm. Striped cells are sometimes visible.
Preparation of oriental leaves: remove hard stems and impurities.
Side cypress charcoal: take the net oriental arborvitae, according to the fried charcoal method (Appendix Ⅱ D) fry to the surface of coke brown, internal coke yellow.
Sex bitter, astringent, cold
Meridian: go to the lungs, liver, spleen.
Indications: cooling blood to stop bleeding, hair hair UFA. For hematemesis and blood, hemoptysis, blood in the stool, uterine bleeding under the blood, blood heat hair loss, to be made early white.
Dosage: 6 ~ 12g; topical amount.
Storage: Set dry place.
