Properties of medicinal materials:
This product has a hemispherical shape with a diameter of 3 to 5 cm. The exocarp is brown or brown, with granular protrusions, and concave oil chambers at the top of the protrusions; there are obvious style remnants or fruit stalk marks. The pericarp of the cut surface is yellow-white, smooth and slightly raised, 0.4~1.3cm thick, with 1~2 rows of oil chambers scattered on the edge, 7~12 petals of the sac, a few to 15 petals, the juice sac shrinks brown to tan, inside Hidden seeds. The quality is hard, not easy to break. It has a fresh fragrance, bitter taste and slightly sour taste.

Character identification:
(1) The powder of this product is yellowish white or brownish yellow. The mesocarp cells are round or irregular in shape, and the walls are mostly unevenly thickened. The surface of the pericarp epidermal cells is polygonal, square-like or rectangular, the stomata are nearly circular, with a diameter of 16-34μm, and 5-9 accessory cells; the outer stratum corneum is viewed from the side. The juice sac tissue is light yellow or colorless, film-like, and the epidermal cells on the surface are elongated, shrunken, and arranged staggered with the underlying cells. Calcium oxalate square crystals are present in the peel and juice sac cells, and are in the shape of a rhombus, polyhedron or biconical shape, with a diameter of 3 to 30 μm. The threads, reticulated ducts and tracheids are small.
(2) Take 0.5g of this product powder, add 10ml of methanol, heat to reflux for 10 minutes, filter, take 1ml of filtrate, add about 5mg of potassium borohydride, shake well, add a few drops of hydrochloric acid, the solution will appear cherry red to purple red.
Function and indication:

Preparation of the test solution: Take about 0.2g of the crude powder of this product, accurately weigh it, and place it in a stoppered conical flask, add 50ml of methanol, close it, weigh it, heat and reflux for 1.5 hours, let it cool, and close it. Then weigh the weight, make up the lost weight with methanol, shake well, filter, accurately measure 10ml of the filtrate, evaporate to dryness, add 3-5ml of water to dissolve the residue, let it cool, and pass through a polyamide column (50-80 mesh, 2g, inner diameter 1.8cm, wet-packed column), eluted with 25ml of water, discarded the aqueous solution, and then eluted with 50ml of methanol. Collect the eluate, transfer to a 50ml measuring flask, add methanol to the mark, shake well, Filter with a microporous membrane (0.45μm), take the filtrate, and get it.
