Source "New Ginseng in Decoction Pieces"

The source is the immature fruit of Rosaceae Peach or Mountain Peach. Harvested from April to June. Pick the immature fruits and dry them. Mainly produced in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and other places.

Characters: Dry and immature fruit, oblong or ovoid, 1.8 to 3 cm long, 1.5 to 2 cm diameter, 0.9 to 1.5 cm thick, apex acuminate, black beak-like, asymmetrical base, and some keep a few brown Red fruit stalk. The surface is yellow-green, with a reticularly shrunken texture, densely pubescent; the ventral sutures of the endocarp protrude, and the dorsal sutures are not obvious. Solid quality, not easy to break. Weak air, slightly sour taste. Dry, solid, hard, yellowish-green color is preferred.
